CKSS band visits this morning!

Our students enjoyed learning about the band and their instruments this morning. We sang along to some great Christmas songs!  It was great seeing many former Eagles in the band!  The Grinch and Santa also made appearances:). Check out a few pictures below.

Friday, December 18th - Comfy Cozy day

This Friday will be green and red day schoolwide.  We will also have a Comfy Cozy theme within our grade 3 FI classrooms.  Feel free to wear your comfy pajamas in preparation for the break!  Also, bring in a game you would like to share and play with your friends.

Check out the floor!

Today the students counted the area and perimeter of shapes on the floor.  Madame did some taping around the tiles.  We also played some adding games and worked with good old flashcards!

Collaboration - Lyric learning

Students are learning the lyrics to a new song called 'Je me presente'.  They are learning the French/English translations and filling in the missing lyrics.  Great collaboration and French speaking!

Today students surveyed each other about the sports they like and/or dislike.  Many students are speaking some great French!
