Check out the floor!

Today the students counted the area and perimeter of shapes on the floor.  Madame did some taping around the tiles.  We also played some adding games and worked with good old flashcards!

Collaboration - Lyric learning

Students are learning the lyrics to a new song called 'Je me presente'.  They are learning the French/English translations and filling in the missing lyrics.  Great collaboration and French speaking!

Today students surveyed each other about the sports they like and/or dislike.  Many students are speaking some great French!

Bus Safety Presentation

Today we saw a presentation about bus safety.  Check out the handout (Buster's Safety Guide) coming home tonight with your child.  Please discuss the importance of bus safety with your child as they all ride a bus at some point throughout the year.  Happy Monday!
